Jayson grew up in Southeastern Massachusetts and holds a
B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Sciences from the
University of Maine. Before his transition to land surveying he
worked in a variety of fields including construction, wildlife
research and outdoor education.
In 2021 Jayson dedicated himself to pursuing a career as a land
surveyor. He immediately enrolled in classes in the undergraduate
certificate program for surveying engineering technology at the
University of Maine. In 2024 he successfully passed the NCEES FS
Exam and become a licensed land surveyor in training (LSIT), all
before graduating the program. Jayson hopes to become a licensed
professional land surveyor in 2026. He enjoys working on the rugged
coast of Maine, in all types of environments, and has developed an
aptitude for the technological and historical elements of land
surveying.
In his spare time Jayson enjoys spending time with his wife and
young son. He is an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoys hiking
and canoeing, especially when they also involve camping.
Additionally, Jayson enjoys woodworking and building furniture for
his growing family.
As a part of iGage Northeast, Jayson looks forward to bringing
GNSS equipment to all corners of New England and demonstrating how
these technologies can be successfully utilized in heavy canopy. |
