Jayson began his land surveying
career in 2021, building on a lifelong background in the
construction industry and a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and
Conservation Sciences from the University of Maine. His love of
orienteering, emerging technology, and the outdoors ultimately led
him to shift his professional focus to land surveying.
He is a licensed Professional Land
Surveyor (PLS) in the State of Maine and operates his own company,
Summit Surveying Solutions, LLC, from Mount Desert Island, home to
Acadia National Park.
Jayson enjoys surveying Maine’s
rugged coastal landscapes, putting iGage equipment to the test, and
exploring both the technological and historical sides of the
surveying profession. He is particularly passionate about
introducing clients to the capabilities and wide-ranging
applications of GNSS technology. As a younger professional in the
field, he brings enthusiasm, adaptability, and a strong desire to
continue learning, innovating, and growing within the surveying and
GNSS professions.
Outside of work, Jayson enjoys
spending time with his wife and young son, exploring the outdoors,
and woodworking. |
